Optometrist

Roshni Echharam OD

Originally from Durban, South Africa, Dr. Echharam, completed her Undergraduate degree in Optometry at the University of Durban-Westville in 1996. After graduation, she had the opportunity to work in rural South Africa and Zimbabwe, where she gained a keen interest in ocular disease. To expand her knowledge and skills further in the area of ocular disease, Dr. Echharam immigrated to the United States in 1999. She was accepted in the international graduates’ program at the New England College of Optometry in June 2000 and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree with honors in 2002. Upon graduating from NECO, Dr. Echharam has worked in various retail and medical optometry settings in Chicago and Toronto. She maintains a strong interest in the prevention and management of ocular disease. In August 2017 she opened her medical optometry practice in Toronto, which has a dedicated Dry Eye Clinic and Specialty contact lens Centre.

Optometrist

Ken Wan OD FAAO

Dr. Ken Wan completed his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science. He went on to complete his residency in ocular disease at the Oklahoma Eye Institute through the Northeastern State University of Oklahoma College of Optometry followed by his Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry. He currently practices in multiple clinic settings including as an associate optometrist in 2 community based primary care optometry practices, a clinical supervisor at the University of Waterloo Optometry Clinic and a staff optometrist in a referral based ophthalmology practice. He has a passion for medical management of ocular disease, particularly glaucoma, and myopia control.
