Dr. Taji graduated from the University of Waterloo with her bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and also a Masters in Vision Science. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry at the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State. She has presented at several conferences, participated in publications, and has been a guest speaker on topics such as Glaucoma medical management and counselling, and ocular emergencies and dry eye disease. She is excited to have returned to her roots, having grown up in the greater Toronto area. She is passionate about continuing to provide a high standard of care to her patients. Dr. Rana Taji has been in clinical practice since 2010. She practices full-scope comprehensive care, with a particular emphasis on ocular disease management and treatment.
Dr. Ana Juricic is a leading authority and international educator in the field of Low Vision Rehabilitation. She has a special interest in the advancing technologies available for those living with vision loss. Dr. Juricic graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 1996. In 2000, she opened a full scope boutique style optometric practice with a low vision clinic in Windsor, Ontario. In 2009, she moved to Toronto where she focused on solely providing low vision services primarily out of ophthalmology practices. In 2019, Dr. Juricic relocated and amalgamated her two clinics into her new west end location that is conveniently located on the subway line. Dr. Juricic is a huge supporter of
vision research. She has participated in the annual Foundation Fighting Blindness Cycle for Sight fundraising ride for six years while riding on a tandem bike with a legally blind cycling partner.
Dr. Karanveer S. Kamra received his Honours Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University and graduated with Magna cum laude in 2015. He continued his studies at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science and graduated on the Dean’s Honour List.
During his studies he completed his ocular disease and therapeutics clerkship in Ophthalmology with Dr. Fadi Calotti , co-managing routine and on-call emergency cases at the Great Lakes Eye Center and the Brantford General Hospital.
Dr. Kamra’s clinical interests include ocular diseases, with a special interest in dry eye disease. He is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrist and can provide care in English, Punjabi and Hindi. Dr. Kamra strives to optimize the visual system to meet patient needs and believes in educating patients, allowing them to be involved in their care.
